Behind-the-Scenes at Trinity Pawling

We were on-site this week in Pawling, NY shooting video at Trinity-Pawling – the very first SmartSchool to adopt PlaySight technology. We checked out their amazing facilities and talked to coaches across all of their sports, including football, soccer, hockey, squash, basketball and lacrosse. Trinity-Pawling has developed stars across several sports, including former MLB All-Star Mo Vaughn and former Stanford football star Shayne Skov.

Check out some exclusive behind-the-scenes pictures below, and stay tuned for the video release.

The brand new Smith Field House – one of the nicest indoor facilities we have seen!

The Pride play all of their home basketball games on this SmartCourt.

When the school built the new Field House, they made sure to keep and display the original floor from center court. A nice touch and a great way to honor the rich sports history at Trinity Pawling.

With PlaySight cameras on their outdoor field, the Pride lacrosse team is able to access real-time video in practices through the PlaySight app for tablets and smartphones.

A nice and sunny lacrosse practice from the beautiful turf field located beside the Field House (all action on the field is captured by five PlaySight cameras).

Interviewing Bill Taylor, Headmaster at Trinity-Pawling.

Some more real-time video from lacrosse practice. As the coaches told us, the difference has been night and day with players having instant visual feedback during practices.

PlaySight’s Erik Gormley has worked closely with the Trinity-Pawling coaches to help them get the most out of the technology.

The Trinity-Pawling hockey team uses PlaySight to break down film before and after every game. They were able to win the Founders League Championship this past season and credit the ability to break down video on the ice and in the film room for giving them an edge over the competition.

And that is a wrap!
